Outlook comes by way of the Visible Basic Applications programming language, which can be used to plan it. VBA is based on Microsoft's COM also supports OLE Automation, which enables it to make calls to items relating to the host application's properties and methods. In referencing items, the things are positioned in the computer's memory. It is good programming practice when done using those subjects to release them from the computer's memory to free up assets. The VBA "Nothing" keyword does that. Creating any plan in Microsoft Outlook that uses an Outlook object and after that employs the Nothing keyword to release it takes just any few steps.

Difficulty: Tolerably Easy

Directions

1 Open Microsoft Outlook.

2 Click "Tools," "Macro" plus next click "Visible Basic." You are now in the VB editor.

3 Click the "+" hint to expand the Project Explorer with the upper left.

4 Double-click the constructed-in "ThisOutlookSession" module to open it. Accept the accordant to enable macros.

5 Type or paste your code to the ThisOutlookSession module.

Dim msg Since Outlook.MailItem 'Item remains created also placed into memory.

msg.Subject = "Hello Planet!"

msg.Exhibit

Set msg = Nothing 'Object yous set to Nothing plus release from memory.

End Sub

Press "F5" to run the program.
